The fish pier in Chatham, MA has an observation deck so visitors can watch fishermen unloading their catch. I often ignore what's going on below and focus on what's happening in the harbor and beyond. In the background is the sand bar that protects Chatham from the Atlantic Ocean. The yellow boat in the foreground is the "Yellowbird". Yellowbird no longer moors across from the fish pier so I feel fortunate to have captured this image. The funny story about this image is I was with my wife and I wasn't going to take pictures but she said, "Let's have a photo contest and see who can take the better picture". She wasn't happy when I downloaded my image. I won't tell you what she called me.
